I was a stranger in strange lands for four years and it was only by the assistance and support I received on the road that I’ve made it to the successful conclusion of The Odyssey Expedition.  At least once a day somebody came to my aid, whether it be giving me directions, helping me find transport or giving me somewhere to get my head down for the night.

The following people are just some of the many Odyssey Heroes — there are many more, but it’s not always possible to snap a pic of border guards who welcome me into their country with a cup of tea, the policeman who slips his mobile phone through the cell bars so I can call for help or the bus driver who drives through the night to get me where I need to be.

These pages are dedicated to everyone who has shown me kindness and given me a helping hand.
