The Odyssey Expedition
My name is Graham Hughes. Welcome To The World!
The Odyssey Expedition is the first official attempt to visit every country in the world in one epic journey, without flying. Follow me as I go via my Blogs, YouTube videos, Twitter, GPS and the TV show "Graham's World" screening this summer on National Geographic Adventure.
THE RULES (set by Guinness World Records™):
- - I cannot fly
- - I may not drive
- - I must use public transport
- - I must step foot on dry land
I'm doing this to raise money and awareness for the incredibly worthy charity WaterAid and I've already set a new Guinness World Record™ by visiting 133 countries in one year without ever leaving the ground.
So far I've been imprisoned in Congo, I got caught sneaking into Russia, ran the blockade into Cuba, fought my way into Eritrea, got wasted in Iraq, got mobbed in Afghanistan, rode on the top of a truck in Kenya, drove a train in Denmark, hitched a ride on a cruise ship to The Dominican Republic, joined a tribe in Gabon and screamed at the ocean in El Salvador. But it's not over yet!!! I still have a quarter of the world left to visit and you are invited along for the ride.
