Night Out! (with virtual Graham!)

You’re ALL INVITED!!!!

Graham has been running around the world for 400 days now and he wants to celebrate by organising a virtual night out in Liverpool… and you’re all invited!!

What does this mean???????? Well, we’ll be hitting the streets of Liverpool with a 3G connected laptop (thanks Anna! you’re a star!) and a webcam. Graham is going to find the fastest internet connection on Earth and via the magic of Skype, will spend some time with his friends – and YOU! Of course, he’ll be in a hostel in Kebab-istan, but he’ll be there in electric dreams!! (…arr Bestival Festival, Stan do you remember??? I barley do!).

Anyway…

Many of you won’t have seen each other since Graham dropped in for 36 hours last April 2009, and it would be a really good excuse for everyone to get together. Stan is in the north of England for the weekend and for once, Hugh is in the country, so there’s really no better time to do this.

The plan is to meet at the bar in FACT (as it has good wi-fi) at 9pm this Saturday 8th Feb 2010, and where we go from there is entirely random. But Graham’s coming with us – at least virtually!

We’d like to film it all for the web videos…particularly some of you on camera talking about Graham’s journey so far, what you think about what Graham’s doing and all that palava. This will be totally awesome! Africa really took it out of him, and this could be just the thing to give him the second wind he needs to continue on to the last 58 countries.
